Ingredients
- 1 x 185g can Safcol Tuna in Springwater, drained
- 8 cherry tomatoes, sliced
- a handful of mixed salad leaves, washed
- fresh chervil leaves (optional)
- 4 slices whole grain sourdough bread
- thousand island dressing
- 4 tablespoons, mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
- 2 small pickled gherkin, very finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 4-6 drops Tabasco (optional)
- sea salt and freshly cracked pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the dressing ingredients and season to taste.
- Spread a little of the thousand Island dressing on the bread, pile on the salad leaves, drained tuna and sliced cherry tomatoes.
- Drizzle with the remaining dressing and serve with masses of napkins.
