Sardine chive chilli canapés

Ingredients
- 1 x 110g Safcol Brisling Sardines Springwater, drained
- 20 grain biscuits – we used gluten free, seaweed and black sesame for the flavor and black colour
- 4 tablespoons low fat spreadable cream cheese
- 4 tablespoons finely chopped fresh chives, plus a few chive spears for garnish
- 2 teaspoons lemon or lime juice
- a few drops of Tabasco (optional)
- sea salt flakes or pink salt flakes
- 2 red bullet chillies, very finely sliced (optional)
Instructions
- In a small bowl mix together the cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of the chopped chives, lemon or lime juice and Tabasco if you’re using it.
- Place the biscuits on a large serving plate and spoon a little of the cream cheese and chive mixture on each biscuit.
- Top each one with half a sardine. Then scatter each biscuit with some of the left over chopped chives and a couple of slices of chilli.
- Decorate the plate with a couple of reserved chive spears, serve immediately.
